there is a big group in their 20's all living in the same apartment complex in downtown new york city. with college behind them, they've all managed to end up in the big apple either working full time, part time, over time, going to grad school, or hardly working at all. some are old friends, some are new, and some are not exactly on friendly terms at all. despite their connections to one another, they all live together, run in the same crowd and are ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) theusuals
the game. all characters will have graduated college no earlier than 2008 and are currently living in the apartments. the game will heavily rely on a lot of commenting, iming, and character interaction. if you do not feel comfortable with this then this game may not be for you. there will be a lot of open threads so we can get back to actual writing and developing our characters. everyone will be expected to post something every two weeks as part of their activity check. have fun!

to apply, make both ic and ooc posts and include a small blurb about your character's history, personality, and storylines. usernames should be in ooc format. remember, the success of the group depends on your activity so please don't apply if you'll just die off after adds! if your comment is deleted, unfortunately we do not feel you would be a fit in this community.
note: as of right now, we will not be accepting more than 30 members. the whole goal of this community is to create a tight-knit group with evolving storylines. while we hope that everyone from the first round of adds sticks around for a while, we know that people leaving is inevitable which will open up more spots. to ensure we are adding fit members to our circle, we will be requiring examples for any future applications!
